Each ceramic Le Souk piece is hand-crafted from Majolica clay that is low-fired for household use durability. After the firing process, the piece is painted completely by hand with lead- and cadmium-free, food-safe paints and glazes. Because the piece is made from ceramic, it can handle light microwave and oven heating, up to 300°F and is also safe to clean in the dishwasher.
